Carlson Gracie Miami was founded in June 2008 by Master Michel “Buiu” Porfirio Pereira — a 6th degree black belt with decades of experience, one of only a handful of professors in the U.S. certified to teach under the prestigious Carlson Gracie lineage.
What started with four students grew into one of the largest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies in the southeastern United States — and a family that trains, competes, and grows together as the Ghost Squad.
